Community Giving

Guild Member Volunteer Needed

In the past guild member Nancy Robinson has provided small 8x10” quilted pieces, primarily landscapes, that are framed by Cedarcrest and given to outgoing members of their Board of directors.  She has made a couple of them recently, so there may not be an immediate need at this point. She is requesting that another guild member take over this task. It typically involves making 2-4 pieces per year, depending on turnover.  When someone volunteers, she would be happy to pass along the relevant details. Please contact Nancy if you are interested, her contact information is in our handbook.

Community Giving Information

Since its founding, the Cheshire Quilters’ Guild has made wheelchair quilts for residents of area nursing homes. Our charitable work has expanded to include donations to the Cheshire Medical Center Pediatrics department, Cedar Crest Center, and the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention.
