The Open Sew April Project is the Delectable Mountain block
Guild Open Sew – April 25, 2026/9am-2pm
Stone Arch Village, 831 Court Street, Keene
We’ll be focusing on accuracy at the April Open Sew. You’ll learn the easy way to make a Delectable Mountain block (9x15) while you perfect your ¼ inch seam allowance. Bring your sewing machine, basic tools (snips/pins/thread etc.) There will be precut 10”squares provided for you to practice with. If you have a layer cake you’d prefer to use, bring it along with a light background fabric cut in 10” squares. As always, you can work on your own project at your own pace if you prefer.

February Open Sew Project Update
The final product
The final product was this beautiful wheelchair quilt that will be donated by our guild to a local nursing home. Linda Ramrath taught this class at the Saturday Open Sew in February. Many blocks were made by students and guild members who attended.
